What is Shopify multi-store reporting?

Multi-store reporting means reviewing comparable performance information across more than one Shopify storefront. It gives merchants, managers, and agencies a consistent way to examine separate store results together while retaining the business detail needed for reporting.

MerchantFrame supports one to five stores in a report and uses one standard Shopify Orders CSV export per store.

Why comparing separate Shopify store exports becomes difficult

Separately managed storefronts produce separate Orders CSV exports. Repeatedly consolidating those files by hand can make spreadsheet work repetitive, harder to verify, and difficult to reproduce for the next reporting period.

Differences in store labels, reporting periods, currencies, and available product fields also need deliberate handling before results can be compared.

How multi-currency store comparisons work

Native Currency preserves each store’s original currency so unlike currencies are not presented as one combined monetary value. Manual Conversion lets the user enter positive conversion rates and choose a reporting currency for comparison reporting.

MerchantFrame does not automatically retrieve currency exchange rates. Users remain responsible for the rates entered in Manual Conversion mode.

How MerchantFrame identifies bundle opportunities

Bundle opportunities are based on products appearing together in eligible order data. These results are co-purchase signals that can support further merchandising review; they do not establish that one product caused another purchase.

Shopify multi-store reporting without an API connection

The Beta does not connect to the Shopify API. Users upload exported Orders CSV files and do not enter Shopify account credentials or API tokens into MerchantFrame.

Raw CSV uploads are not intentionally retained after processing. Temporary application data and report results may remain in memory while the reporting session is active. Customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, and billing addresses are not included in report outputs.

Shopify multi-store reporting FAQ

What is Shopify multi-store reporting?

Shopify multi-store reporting means reviewing comparable performance information across more than one Shopify storefront. MerchantFrame brings separate Orders CSV exports into one reporting workflow.

How do I combine reports from multiple Shopify stores?

Export one standard Shopify Orders CSV file from each store, upload one file per store, choose the reporting settings, and generate a comparison report for up to five stores.

Which Shopify export does MerchantFrame use?

MerchantFrame uses the standard Shopify Orders CSV export. Product, variant, and SKU comparisons depend on the information included in those uploaded exports.

Can I compare products and SKUs across Shopify stores?

Yes. MerchantFrame can compare product, variant, and SKU performance where the uploaded Shopify Orders CSV files contain the relevant information.

Can I compare stores that use different currencies?

Yes. Native Currency preserves each store's original currency. Manual Conversion uses conversion rates entered by the user; MerchantFrame does not automatically retrieve exchange rates.

Does MerchantFrame connect to the Shopify API?

No. The Beta works from Shopify Orders CSV exports, so users do not enter Shopify account credentials or API tokens into MerchantFrame.

How are bundle opportunities calculated?

Bundle opportunities are based on products appearing together in eligible order data. They are co-purchase signals, not proof that one product caused another purchase.

Is MerchantFrame free to use?

MerchantFrame is free during the current Beta. No account, payment, or credit card is required.
